VIDEO: LeBron James’ Dunk Gives Dwyane Wade Bloody Nose

What's the best way to say thanks for an alley-oop? A head-nod running down the court? A fist bump? Perhaps even the flying chest bump that's become all the rage? On Tuesday night, we found out how not to give props for the alley part of an alley-oop courtesy of LeBron James. Teammate, and fellow Miami Heat "big three" member Dwyane Wade tossed one up for James on a break, and James finished with authority.

OK, so it wasn’t exactly an alley-oop -- Wade was partially blocked -- but the result was something better fit for America’s Funniest Home Videos.

In one fluid motion, the ball drills Wade square in the nose after the dunk. It hits him dead-flush, coming at him like a ton of bricks. It’s one of those “no way that just happened” moments that makes viewers do a double-take. It’s also ridiculously hilarious.

Wade was fine, but did suffer a bloody nose. The hazards of LeBron dunks come in many forms. The dunk --cleaning up the mess -- was great, but it’s Wade getting drilled in the face that’ll be replayed over and over.

The Heat went on to beat the Indiana Pacers, 117-112. James finished with 41 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists and one friendly-fire incident. Wade finished with 17 points, seven assists and a highlight he can cherish forever.
