For what it’s worth, Stein has reiterated that Murphy is choosing the Celtics, saying that he’s heard the news from Murphy himself. That seems like a pretty solid source on this one.
But here’s to hoping this confusion as long as possible, because really, all of this centers on Troy Murphy. It’s a story that needed some good ole reporter beef to spice things up.
