Derrick Rose and Luol Deng are absolutely obliterating the Atlanta Hawks, and they’re not doing it by themselves. The Chicago Bulls’ role players and reserves are all on fire as well, and an entire team effort has the Bulls leading by a score of 72-43 at halftime. Chicago dropped 132 points last night in a thrashing of Sacramento, so they might be getting on a bit of a hot streak. They’re 20th in the NBA in scoring, but near first place because of their defense, so it’s bad news for the rest of the NBA if the Bulls have the ability to easily drop triple digit score lines on a nightly basis.
Bulls Vs. Hawks Score: Halftime, Chicago Massacring Atlanta, Derrick Rose Dominating
Rose has 20 points and seven assists, with three of those points coming on a buzzer beater that was simply the cherry on top of the decadent ice cream sundae that was the first half for the Bulls. Incredibly, he’s put that up in only 17 minutes. During the other seven minutes of the first half, C.J. Watson was almost as dominant, shooting 100 percent and dishing out four assists. Deng has 20 points of his own, and has shot absolutely lights out.
