Bulls Vs. Hawks Score: Final, 114-81, Chicago Starters Sit Entire Fourth Quarter

The Chicago Bulls put on an absolute clinic on Tuesday night, destroying the Atlanta Hawks by a final score of 114-81. The game was all but over after the first quarter and completely over at halftime. Still, the Bulls felt compelled to play their starters in the third quarter, where they extended their lead further. All five starters sat for both teams in the fourth quarter, rendering that 12 minute period almost entirely pointless. It was a massacre from start to finish, and both Derrick Rose and Luol Deng put on a show for Chicago.

The Hawks were competent offensively in the first two quarters, shooting nearly 50%, but their defense was embarrassing. On the occasion that they defended well, it didn’t matter; Rose and Deng were simply too good. This is the second blowout in as many nights from Chicago, who beat the Sacramento Kings by 40 points on Monday. With this win, the Bulls take sole possession of first place in the Eastern Conference.
