After heading into halftime tied, the Boston Celtics turned it on in the second half to put away the San Antonio Spurs, . Both the Spurs and Celtics have been struggling as of late, with each team dropping three of their last four games. The Celtics used a third quarter burst to snatch the lead and never looked back, walking away with a 107-97 win on the Spurs’ home court.

Rajon Rondo led the way with a double-double, scoring 22 points and dishing out 14 assists. Paul Pierce also had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Kevin Garnett made it three Celtics in double-figures with 20 points, Glen Davis added 16 points off the bench and Ray Allen finished with 13.
Tony Parker scored a game-high 23 points for San Antonio in the loss. Tim Duncan had a double-double, finishing with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Richard Jefferson was also in double-figures with 14 points.
Boston improved to 52-22 with the win and currently holds a 13-game lead over Philadelphia in the Atlantic division. San Antonio fell to 57-18, but holds a 3.5-game lead over Dallas in the Southwest division.
