All Kevin Love does is score at least ten points and grab ten rebounds in almost every game. After Minnesota's 108-105 loss to Dallas on Monday night, he's done it 51 consecutive times. In doing so, he tied Moses Malone for the NBA record of consecutive double-doubles, set during the 1978-79 season
Kevin Love Breaks NBA Double-Double Record In Minny’s Loss To Mavs
Love tied the record with a three-pointer during the third quarter:
Love not only scored a double-double, he obliterated the mark. He scored 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. He did fall short of the 20-20 mark, something he’s done in 11 games this year, but it’s still an impressive haul. Streak aside, Love has grabbed a double-double sixty times overall this year.
Love now has a chance to break the record on Wednesday when Minnesota hosts the Pacers.
