San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili actually had a broken arm -- not a sprained elbow -- during the team’s playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Manu Ginobili Played With Broken Arm In Spurs’ Short Playoff Run
Ginobili told the Argentine publication that the fracture in his humerus is 85 percent healed, and that the guard must rest it completely for three weeks. After missing Game 1, Ginobili came back with a heavy elbow brace for the remainder of the series. He averaged almost 35 minutes a game, scoring 20.6 points per game and averaging eight free throw attempts, proving once again that he is among the toughest players in the league.
