NBA Playoff Schedule 2011: TV Times For Monday’s Action

A wild weekend featuring eight Game 1s has made way for a Monday night Eastern Conference doubleheader. The darling Bulls and monster Heat -- wait, switch those adjectives -- each step in for Game 2 after being challenged seriously on Saturday.

76ers at Heat, Game 2: 7 p.m. ET, TNT
Heat lead 1-0
Thaddeus Young and some solid Philadelphia defense kept the Heat sweating for 48, and Dwyane Wade’s excused absence from practice Sunday added to the drama. But Wade’s ready and Miami looks to escape the home arena with a 2-0 lead.

Pacers at Bulls, Game 2: 9:30 p.m. ET, TNT
Bulls lead 1-0
Derrick Rose led Chicago to a comeback win over the upstart Pacers, who featured throwback Danny Granger and a particularly feisty (that’s saying something) Tyler Hansbrough. This is a late start in Chicago (8:30 local time), and you know Thibodeau’s boys want to wash the taste of the near-loss out of their mouth. Can Vogel’s Army strike again, for real this time?

EXCITEMENT AND INTRIGUE POWER RANKINGS

1. Dwyane Wade’s eyewear, if any.

2. Bulls-Pacers.

3. Thaddeus Young.

4. Heat-Sixers.

5. Pot of chili cooking at home; Sierra Nevada Celebration recently found in chill drawer of fridge (tie)

6. The Event, which is the Jrue Holiday to Lost’s Derrick Rose. (Very awesome!, but less discussed or respected or good.)
