After missing two shots and turning the ball over on a bad pass in the course of a minute, J.R. Smith inexplicably left the floor with about eight minutes left to go in the second quarter between the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder. He returned a couple minutes later, leading many on Twitter to make 420 jokes, because ... what in the world was that, Mr. Smith?
J.R. Smith Leaves Thunder-Nuggets Game For No Clear Reason
He seemed upset, which would make sense given the way the Nuggets have been playing. All seems relatively well now, other than being down by almost 20 points in a tough road venue and seeing George Karl hoppin' mad at the way Denver's playing.
Smith has hit one of his six field goal attempts so far.
