VIDEO: Kobe Bryant, Lakers Record PSA In Wake Of Slur

The only thing that bothered many folks more than Kobe Bryant yelling a homosexual slur at a referee was his lazy apology days later.

Kobe tried again, along with a bunch of his Laker teammates in a new PSA video the team has released on the topic of valuing one another.

“There are all kinds of different people in the world. That’s what makes the world special. So whether someone is different than you in race, ethnicity, political beliefs, religion ... or sexual orientation ... Words could be hurtful. Replace them with understanding, compassion and acceptance. Let’s make this a better world for all of us.”

The folks over at GLAAD are reportedly happy with the video and Kobe’s participation so it looks like some good has come from the whole thing after all. Kudos to the organization for following through.
