In most NBA arenas, if a lucky fan hits one of those halfcourt shots during a timeout, he or she wins a car or a big wad of cash or something of value. In New Orleans, if a Hornets fan hits one of those halfcourt shots during a timeout, he or she wins ... a year's worth of 7-Up. One such fan was so lucky during Friday night's Hornets vs. Lakers game. Marc Spears sums up the national sentiment.
