It's been an extremely up and down first quarter, chock full of good shooting and bad defense, and as a result, the Chicago Bulls lead 36-25 over the Indiana Pacers after an extremely high scoring opening 12 minutes. Joakim Noah and Luol Deng have both been great for the Bulls, while Derrick Rose does not appear to be affected by his ankle injury.
Bulls Vs. Pacers Score: Chicago Leads After High-Scoring First Quarter
Danny Granger has been the Pacers' best player, scoring 11 points. Incredibly, despite the fact that they are shooting just barely over 36 percent, the Pacers managed to score 25 points in the first quarter, which should tell you exactly how fast-paced this game has been.
The downer story of this series is continuing to be Carlos Boozer, who is having yet another stinker tonight. The Bulls' high priced power forward has no points on 0-2 shooting in seven minutes of play. The Bulls have shown that they can win this series without him playing well, but winning while Boozer performs poorly does not seem sustainable.
