It's been all Chicago Bulls in the third quarter, and they've opened up a massive 19 point lead on the Indiana Pacers. With 12 minutes left to go, they lead by a score of 84-65, and they can probably play their reserves in the fourth quarter while still closing out the series. With a 3-1 series lead and a 19 point lead after three quarters in Game 5, it's basically over at the Madhouse on Madison.
Bulls Vs. Pacers Score: Chicago Blows Game Wide Open In Third Quarter
Derrick Rose went nuts in the third, and he now has 25 points. Luol Deng and Keith Bogans have added some considerable offensive punch as well. Carlos Boozer, as you may have predicted, is still pretty bad.
There was an interesting incident at the end of the third quarter, in which Josh McRoberts shoved Joakim Noah off the ball with 2.5 seconds remaining in the quarter. The referees called a flagrant-2 foul and ejected McRoberts. Noah made both ensuing free throws.
