The Chicago Bulls have won easily tonight against the Indiana Pacers, dispatching the eighth seeded team by a final score of 113-89 in Game 5. This gives the Bulls the 4-1 series win, and they will be advancing to face the winner of the series between the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks, which Atlanta currently leads.
Bulls Vs. Pacers Final Score: Chicago Wins Big, Closes Out Series
The Bulls had such a massive advantage after the third quarter that their bench players were on the floor for the majority of the fourth quarter. Despite the close games in this series, the Pacers were never really considered to be in this series, and the Bulls have predictably closed it out in five games.
All of the Bulls starters had spectacular games (other than Carlos Boozer), and Taj Gibson turned in a very good performance off the bench. Danny Granger played well for Indiana and Tyler Hansborough put in a decent performance as well, but they were the only players anywhere near the level of the Bulls' stars. Predictably and deservedly, the Bulls are going to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
