The Raptors have signed GM Bryan Colangelo to a contract extension. Colangelo has won two Executive of the Year awards, but Toronto has fallen on hard times the last few seasons.

Zing! In fairness to Bosh, he is in the Eastern Conference Finals, and Colangelo is wearing a beautiful Italian shirt at the NBA Draft Lottery. In fact, using Bosh’s flight to defend the Raptors’ fate is troubling, considering that by the start of free agency Colangelo had admitted Toronto had little hope of keeping Bosh, and the Raptors didn’t seem to seriously entertain trading him before the deadline.
But still, it was a good Bosh zing. And that’s all that counts.
