Now that we know the 2011 NBA Draft order, projecting the picks becomes less about best player available and more scientific. Before, NBA mock drafts amounted to throwing darts while having to disregard team needs and personnel. But with the NBA Draft lottery in the books, updated 2011 NBA mock drafts are beginning to roll out as various analysts update their projections taking into account Tuesday night’s developments.
Draft Express struck quick, putting out its updated mock draft shortly after the lottery came to a close. The top-two should come as no surprise: Kyrie Irving and Derrick Williams have risen to the top and are likely to stay there throughout the draft process.
