LeBron James Endorses Mike Brown For Los Angeles Lakers Coach

LeBron James and Mike Brown's union in Cleveland was a five-year oasis in a city that has been ravaged by depression throughout his history. That's at least what a semi-logical extension of James' words by anyone who despises James would have you believe. Given the recent reports that Brown is about to be hired as the next Los Angeles Lakers' coach, someone had to ask James what he thought of Brown.

James responded by giving an endorsement of his former coach that almost makes you forget that the Cavaliers fired him in part to keep James in Cleveland. Via John Schuhmann of NBA.com.

"If it's true, when it's official," James said, "I think the Lakers got them a great coach."

"Ultimately, we didn't win a championship, which we wanted to do in Cleveland. I know he wanted it bad. I wanted it. We didn't win, but we got better every single day and we brought the fans of Cleveland what they hadn't seen before."

Mark Price, Brad Daugherty and Larry Nance would like to have a word with James about the whole “brought the fans of Cleveland what they hadn’t seen before” comment.
