↵Nearly 20 years have passed, and thank God, Magic is still alive and well. “He’ll die soon” was foregone conclusion made all the more dramatic for its complete wrongness. Which brings us to this, an excuse for me to link the terrific blog Everything Is Terrible. On Friday, they dug up footage of ex-San Diego Charger Miles McPherson stating very assuredly and matter-of-factly that Magic Johnson “is going to shrivel up and die a painful death, and you’re going to watch him.”
