Time For Ricky Rubio To Decide On The Minnesota Timberwolves
↵Ricky Rubio has been flirting with the NBA for two years now, and unless he signs with the Minnesota Timberwolves today, May 31st, chances are it’ll be another year before Rubio comes overseas. Rubio (pictured above, looking like a wayward member of the Glee cast) is currently in the midst of the ACB Tournament in Europe. SB Nation’s Canis Hoopus reports:

↵Today is the day cited in the NBA/NBAPA CBA as being the last day Ricky Rubio can sign an NBA contract under the 2010/11 salary structure/current CBA. If he does not sign by today, the team cannot sign him until after the start of the next fiscal NBA season. With the CBA uncertainty, this will likely not be at the beginning of July, as in prior seasons, and the likelihood of Rubio making it to the NBA for the 2011/12 season with the Wolves dramatically declines.
