Dwyane Wade Wakes Up After Miami Heat Timeout, Dirk Nowitzki Not Rebounding Well

It's been a tough game so far for Dwyane Wade, but something about the last Miami Heat timeout has lit a fire under him. He's been easily the least productive 'Big Three' member so far in this game. Immediately after that timeout, called by Erik Spoelstra to break up an impressive Mavericks run, Wade attacked the basket twice and scored twice, stopping the bleeding and killing the Dallas Mavericks' momentum.

Meanwhile, going the other way, Dirk Nowitzki has been a very one-dimensional player. That one dimension as absolutely incredible, as he's one of the best scorers in the NBA, but the Mavs could run into problems if he doesn't start contributing in more facets of the game. He's taking contested shots when he has wide open teammates and his play on the boards has been below average to put it lightly. Chris Bosh, who has been widely labeled as soft, has completely out-worked Nowitzki in that department tonight.
