The 2011 NBA Finals has been one of the most compelling series in quite some time, as it's been filled with close games and tremendous storylines surrounding LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki and Dwyane Wade. The television ratings continue to reflect that. ABC earned the highest prime-time rating of the night once again, pulling in a 12.6 overnight rating, second-best in the last seven years only to last year's Game 5. Just under 14 million households had their eyes glued to the game.

Interestingly, the TV ratings were higher in Miami than in Dallas. The game netted a 32.7 rating in Miami, compared to a 31.9 rating in Dallas. Both of those figures are very high, of course, but it goes to show that Miami is a city that cares about its basketball more than people think.
