Ron Artest has been a charismatic guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live since joining the Lakers in 2009, famously showing up on Kimmel's show in a false beard and then stripping down to his underwear. And Artest's loopy tweets have been an occasional feature on the show.

But Kimmel outdid himself this week, by bringing Artest in to film a PSA for a faux charity that does animal something or other, then making Ron-Ron sit next to all manner of unruly and unusual critters. Hilarity ensues.
Artest’s reactions to each subsequent creature are almost as great as his fantastic quick teleprompter readings, and he’s about as good a sport as good sports get, but the crew does a great job of egging him on, too. The absolute best part: Artest saying “I don’t have that type of heart,” followed by the snarky production assistant firing back with a quick “Well, maybe that’s why you guys aren’t in the playoffs right now. No heart.”
That, as the kids say? Shots fired.
