And it's great to see Dirk finally getting his due. Really. Dirk's always been one of the most enjoyable players of his generation, so watching his dreams finally come to fruition has been a rare gift to basketball fans more used to seeing guys like Kobe Bryant owning the league.
↵He earned all this praise, and here’s to hoping he soaks in this moment as much as possible.
↵But as much as we all love Dirk, it would’ve been a lot cooler if SI used this photo for the cover.
