Markieff Morris, Twin Brother Marcus Split Up By NBA Draft

Finally, you'll be able to tell Markieff Morris and Marcus Morris apart. Markieff is seven minutes older than his brother, but who would've predicted he'd be drafted something like seven minutes earlier than him as well? The Phoenix Suns picked the six-foot-nine Morris at No. 13, with the Houston Rockets selecting the slightly shorter Morris a pick later.

After Markieff’s selection, both players appeared emotional at the prospect of no longer playing together.
And after the two were selected by Western Conference rivals, ESPN wisely had a word with mother Angel Morris. She was asked if she’ll continue her role as team mom even though she’ll have to do double duty -- she seems to think she can get it done.

The pair is the first set of twins to ever be drafted back-to-back and just the third to feature two NBA Draft first-rounders.
