Spencer Hawes Etches A Space Needle Into His Crew Cut
That’s via SB Nation Seattle. But don’t you think this is the first time Hawes has gone out of his way to give love to his hometown.
After Hawes' rookie year, the Sonics moved to Oklahoma City. On the Kings' first official visit to OKC, Hawes wore the following outfit for a pre-game interview on the Sacramento broadcast. (Hawes is on the left.)
He also apparently wore a Nick Collison Sonics jersey on the plane flight to OKC. As you can tell, he’s very passionate about the Sonics.
