FIBA has announced that NBA players under contract will be allowed to play overseas, so long as they immediately return to their NBA clubs once the lockout ends.
FIBA Clears NBA Players To Play Overseas During NBA Lockout
In an expected, but still significant move, FIBA has confirmed that it will not block NBA players from playing overseas during the NBA lockout. In an agreement worked out with the NBA, FIBA reports that the NBA will not object to a player playing abroad while still under contract, so long as the player immediately returns to his NBA team once the lockout ends.
