Seimone Augustus scored a game-high 16 points, as the Minnesota Lynx dealt the Tulsa Shock a record-tying loss with an 82-54 rout at Target Center.
The loss was the Shock's 17th in a row, tying the mark set by the 2009 Atlanta Dream in the franchise's inaugural season.
Minnesota, on the other hand, has won 11 of its last 12 games and enjoys a five-game cushion for first place in the Western Conference.
Lindsay Whalen added 12 points and nine assists for the Lynx, while the Shock did not have a player score in double digits.
The win was also a record-tying one for the Lnyx, who matched their franchise record for victories in a season and moved one step closer to their first playoff appearance in seven years.
Sheryl Swoopes paced Tulsa with nine points, and Ivory Latta and Liz Cambage each contributed eight.
