Fresh off his breakout performances for Norm MacDonald's Sports Show and the ESPYs, Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin has decided to pursue his comedic talents during the NBA lockout. The AP reports that Griffin will be an intern for Funny or Die, a site co-founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Griffin's not sure what he's doing, but he's still excited about it.

“Just to get an inside look at how things are run here is exciting to me,” Griffin said by phone Tuesday. “I don’t know what interns at Funny Or Die are like, but I’m about to find out, I guess.”

The site’s president pledges that Griffin will be treated like any other intern, which makes sense on some level because Griffin is only 22. That said, he really deserves a special title like Brandon Jennings has for Under Armour. Here are a couple ideas.

  • Creator of Comedy.
  • Sire of Snickering.
  • Founder of Funny.
  • Architect of Amazing.
  • Begetter of Bawling.
  • Composer of Comedy.
  • Handicrafter of HaHa.
  • Architect of Amusement.
  • Head Master of Hilarity.
  • Generator of Giggles.
