Former Georgia Tech basketball player and NBA players Javaris Crittenton is wanted in connection with a murder, reports WSB-TV in Atlanta. A warrant for Crittenton's arrest was issued on Friday for his possible involvement in the shooting death of 22-year-old Jullian Jones.

Former Georgia Tech basketball player Javaris Crittenton is wanted in connection with the death of a 22-year-old woman in Atlanta.
The reported shooting took place on Aug. 19 in southwest Atlanta. Jones was reportedly with other individuals when she was gunned down in a drive-by shooting. However, Jones was not the intended victim, according to the original report. Jones is a mother of three. According to police reports, Crittenton was the victim of a robbery back in April and was retaliating for the incident.
Crittenton played one year of college basketball for the Yellow Jackets before he entered the NBA Draft in 2007. The Los Angeles Lakers selected him with the 19th overall pick, but he bounced around from there to Memphis and then to Washington. He played just two seasons before disappearing from the NBA after the 2009 season.
