Melo League Will Face Goodman League On Tuesday For Another Round Of Summer Rec Basketball

The Goodman League will tipoff against the Melo League in Baltimore on Tuesday for another battle for summer league supremacy.

Summer league action will heat up again on August 30 when the Washington D.C.-based Goodman League takes on the Melo League on its home turf in Baltimore. The Goodman League all-stars -- led by the likes of Kevin Durant, John Wall, Brandon Jennings, DeMarcus Cousins and street-baller Hugh "Baby Shaq" Jones -- are coming off a win last weekend over the Los Angeles-based Drew League.

The matchup against the Melo League is intriguing not only for the regional bragging rights at stake, but for the star power being brought to the table. The Melo League will feature Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and LeBron James, along with Josh Selby, Gary Neal and Donte Greene.

The Goodman League put on show for fans, taking down the Drew League 135-134 behind 44 points from Durant. A rematch is in the works, with Kobe Bryant potentially joining the Drew League for the game in L.A. In the mean time, we get to whet our appetites on Tuesday's serving of rec league basketball taking place in front of another small group of fans at the St. Frances Academy in Baltimore.

Unfortunately, a live stream will not be available. If you are in the Baltimore area, however, tickets can be purchased on game day. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. ET, gym doors open at 6 p.m.
