Skip Bayless apparently called Chris Bosh "Bosh Spice" all season. I missed this, because I was busy deciphering what the Hades Jason Whitlock meant by calling Bosh "Ch Bo". Anyways, Bosh loves being on TV, so he went on ESPN's Skip vehicle First Take to confront his attacker. And he totally let Bayless skate.

There’s one laugh line in there, where Bosh says that they “are both professionals.” The rest is bleak, with Bosh barely taking issue with the dumb moniker. Only Jemele Hill saved the segment by outlining exactly what’s wrong with calling a grown man “Bosh Spice”: it attacks the player’s masculinity and conflates athletic achievement with gender identity, and it’s wholly disrespectful for no reason whatsoever. Unfortunately, Hill gets about 30 seconds of the 12-minute segment. The rest is Skip maintaining that he reserves the right to act like an idiot in the future if Bosh “plays soft” again, and Bosh enabling him by offering only light defenses of himself. What a sad situation.
