When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong In China
So, J.R. Smith’s sister got into a brawl at Chinese Pro Basketball game this week.
As CBS Sports notes, “After Smith was fouled, his sister threw a bottle onto the court. And then freaked out, choking a woman and shoving an 80-year-old. The game had to be stopped and Smith actually went into the stands to try and restrain his sister.”
Smith’s team was playing the infamous Bayi Rockets, the same team that sparked a brawl with Georgetown Basketball. Smith and two other former-Nuggets (Wilson Chandler, Kenyon Martin) are only in China until March--and unable to leave even if they wanted--but that’s more than enough time to spark a full-on international crisis and/or CIA rescue attempt. And God knows it’ll involve the Bayi Rockets somehow.
So in the interest of world peace--and protecting our economy from collapsing entirely without Chinese investment--somebody call Barack before this gets out of hand. #BringOurNuggetsHome.
