X-rays on Jason Richardson's sore knee came back negative Thursday night, according to Yahoo!'s Marc J. Spears, but the Orlando Magic guard will undergo an MRI on Friday so that the team can assess the injury. In comments to Josh Robbin's of the Orlando Sentinel after the Magic's Thursday win at the Golden State Warriors, Richardson said he's having trouble pushing off on his left leg.

Jason Richardson will have an MRI on his injured left knee on Friday.
Richardson injured the knee in the second quarter against Golden State, but came back to play three minutes and change after halftime before sitting for good. Orlando ended up coming back to take a lead late in the first half as the Warriors executed a strategy of intentionally fouling Dwight Howard; the Magic eventually won 117-109.
Richardson, who spent the first six seasons of his career with the Warriors, is averaging 11.1 points on 43.2 percent shooting for the Magic this season. He signed a multi-year deal with the club in the offseason.
