Dead Body Discovered At Michael Jordan’s High School Coach’s House

Remember that epic Sports Illustrated profile on Clifton “Pop” Herring, the former high school basketball coach who famously cut Michael Jordan? Herring’s story has taken a bizarre and sad turn, as the body of a 24-year-old woman was discovered Friday in a shallow grave in the yard of the house where Herring lives. Another man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, and it’s not yet known if Herring, who suffers from mental illness, had any knowledge of the death.
