As per usual, the NBA has two day games on Dr. Martin Luther King Day, including the usual Chicago Bulls vs. Memphis Grizzlies matchup and a home game for the Atlanta Hawks. The full TV schedule for Monday is below the jump.
NBA Celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King In Memphis, Atlanta
Chicago Bulls at Memphis Grizzlies, 1 p.m. ET, ESPN
ESPN will show the Bulls-Grizzlies game in Memphis on Monday afternoon. Memphis is hosting its 10th MLK Day matinee, and it’s sold out. Memphis puts together a full day of basketball with two high school games at the FedEx Forum after the Grizzlies’ game. During Bulls-Grizzlies, NBA legends George Gervin and Clyde Drexler will be honored as winners of the National Civil Rights Sports Legacy Award.
Toronto Raptors at Atlanta Hawks, 4 p.m. ET, NBA TV
The Hawks' annual MLK Day game will be on NBA TV, with the Raptors visiting.
The NBA also has a TV doubleheader on TNT late Monday.
Oklahoma City Thunder at Boston Celtics, 8 p.m. ET, TNT
Kendrick Perkins visits as the Celtics flail in the standings. Sounds like a recipe for regret and hand-wringing.
Dallas Mavericks at L.A. Lakers, 10:30 p.m. ET, TNT
The Lakers are at home looking for a bit of vengeance against a club that swept them out of the playoffs last year.
