Blazers Vs. Hawks: TV Time, Schedule And More

LaMarcus Aldridge and the Portland Trail Blazers will visit the Atlanta Hawks for a game on Wednesday night. The game will be the first of two televised on ESPN in their midweek doubleheader.

The Atlanta Hawks will be without All-Star big man Al Horford when they host LaMarcus Aldridge and the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night. The big man match-up isn't quite as alluring as it could have been with Horford out due to injury, but it should still be a solid contest when they tip-off at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

The remaining Hawks have stepped up quite a bit in Atlanta's last three games with Joe Johnson and Josh Smith taking the reins. NBA.com has crunched the numbers, reporting that Johnson is averaging 25.0 points in the last three games - 8.3 more than he posted in his first 11 - while Smith is averaging 22.0 on 57.4 percent shooting and 12.0 rebounds.

The Blazers are coming off of a victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Monday night, though they haven't had the start they hoped to as they currently sit with an 8-5 record. Aldridge is seemingly making a resurgence, however, as he scored 16 of his game-high 22 points in the victory.
