The Wizards picked up 19 of 56 offensive rebound opportunities, while holding OKC to six in 39 opportunities. The disparity (along with parity in turnover figures) allowed Washington 15 more shooting possessions than the Thunder.

The win was the Clippers’ seventh straight at home, and they improved to 8-4 overall, while the Mavs dropped to 8-7.

But it was the play of Andre Miller that surpassed them all.
Miller had 12 points in the fourth quarter, personally shooting Denver into a tie with the Sixers late in the game. He missed the shot that could have won it at the buzzer in regulation, but made up for it in overtime. Miller, with the game tied at 104, handled the ball on a pick-and-roll with Nene, a play that had yielded 5-5 baskets when Nene took the pass off the PNR. The Sixers sagged off Miller, who calmly put down the midrange jump shot, giving him 28 points to go with eight rebounds and 10 assists for his night’s work.

So, just to recap, the famously three-happy Knicks hit three shots from downtown in the final minute of the game after hitting just ONE in the preceding 47 minutes. And that’s how things are for the Knicks right now.
The Suns’ win snuffed a five-game losing streak and moved them to 5-9. The Knicks’ loss was their fourth straight and dropped them to 6-8 overall.

Some of the decline in scoring in the second half and overtime for Dwight Howard may have been due to Tim Duncan sticking his knee where it doesn’t belong while denying Howard premium post position, or at least that’s what Howard told an official during the game. Duncan operated with the savvy and wit that fans have come to expect of the future Hall of Famer, and he finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Any way you slice it, Duncan and Parker got the job done as they led the way with a combined 42 points in the victory.
