Bobcats Vs. Heat: Chris Bosh, Miami Smother Charlotte 129-90

The Miami Heat got 24 points and 10 rebounds from Chris Bosh and blew the Charlotte Bobcats out 129-90.

The Charlotte Bobcats nearly knocked off the Miami Heat in North Carolina last week, but wouldn't have a prayer of doing so on Sunday. Miami, paced by 24 points on 9-13 shooting and 10 rebounds from Chris Bosh, blew up Charlotte out of the water 129-90. The Heat went up 33-15 after the first quarter and 65-37 at halftime.

Dwyane Wade, who hit the game-winner over Charlotte last Wednesday, scored 22 points with six assists. LeBron James, Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers each added 16 for Miami.

D.J. White led Charlotte (1-3) with 21 points on 10-12 shooting as the starting center, but the rest of the Bobcats starting lineup combined to shoot 7-34 from the floor. Kemba Walker (17 points, 6-13 shooting) was strong off the bench, but the Bobcats just don't have the horses to keep up with a Heat team playing well.

The Heat (5-0) face the Atlanta Hawks twice and the Indiana Pacers this week. The '93-94 Rockets began the season 15-0, a modern record. There's a long way to go before Miami gets there, but it's hard to not think about it when you see performances like Sunday's.
