Stephen Jackson missed the Milwaukee Bucks' team bus to shootaround in New York on Friday, and has been suspended by coach Scott Skiles for the team's Friday game against the Knicks, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The newspaper reports that Shaun Livingston will start at shooting guard in Jackson's place.

The Journal-Sentinel's Charles F. Gardner also reports that Mike Dunleavy and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute will return to the court for Milwaukee after injury absences.

The Bucks are a disappointing 4-9 this season, but just 1.5 games behind the Knicks for the No. 8 spot in the East. Milwaukee hasn't won on the road in eight tries this season. The Bucks have lost three straight overall, and Jackson is shooting just 36.8 percent from the field this season. Milwaukee has the No. 24-ranked offense in the league, and its defense has fallen off sharply. Jackson was acquired in a draft day trade that sent John Salmons and the draft rights to Jimmer Fredette to Sacramento, Corey Maggette to Charlotte and also brought Beno Udrih and the pick that became Tobias Harris to Milwaukee.
