The San Antonio Spurs announced Monday that in March the team will retire Bruce Bowen's No. 12 jersey. This isn't to honor the renowned defender and three-time NBA champion, though. It's because everyone keeps tripping over his jersey around the AT&T Center, and the Spurs can't keep treating rolled ankles for ever. It's time to put that jersey up where it can stop doing so much damage.
