The L.A. Lakers, who among teams expecting to compete for the championship have unequivocably the worst point guard rotation, are targeting the Cleveland Cavaliers' Ramon Sessions in early trade talks, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Ramon Sessions Targeted By Lakers In Trade Talks, According To Report
The L.A. Lakers are looking to bring on Ramon Sessions from the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to a report.

Sessions is backing up rookie star Kyrie Irving in Cleveland, playing 22 minutes per game. He's a career backup (with 85 starts in 278 games on primarily awful squads), but has a strong reputation as a penetrating guard who can pass well.
The Lakers came into the season relying on Derek Fisher and Steve Blake at the point, along with rookie Darius Morris. The 37-year-old Fisher is shooting 36 percent from the floor. Blake is at a robust 40 percent.
Sessions does carry salary on the 2012-13 books ($4.3 million), though it’s tied in a player option. L.A. has cut salary in the past year on account of a rather excessive luxury tax bill.
