Timberwolves Vs. Rockets: Michael Beasley Explodes For 34, Minnesota Wins 120-109

Michael Beasley racked up 34 points off of the bench as the Minnesota Timberwolves knocked off the Houston Rockets on the road.

Michael Beasley scored 34 points off the bench while shooting 10-14 from the floor as the Minnesota Timberwolves knocked off the Houston Rockets 120-09 at the Toyota Center on Monday. Kevin Love scored 29 points for Minny, shooting 10-15. The Wolves shot 58.1 percent from the floor in total, and survived a 29-point outburst from Kevin Martin.

Houston star Kyle Lowry had a muted game playing across from Ricky Rubio. Lowry finished with 11 points on 5-10 shooting with three assists, four rebounds and two steals. Rubio, a rookie, racked up 18 points on 6-10 shooting with 11 assists and eight rebounds. That's not a match-up that Houston can afford to lose.

With the win, Minnesota moves to 10-11 while Houston drops to 12-9.
