The Miami Heat lost their first game of the season against the Atlanta Hawks at home on Monday night, but LeBron James and the rest of the Big Three will have a chance to get back on track at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Wednesday night. The Heat won't have it easy, however, as they face off against a fellow one-loss team in the Indiana Pacers.
Pacers Vs. Heat: Indiana Looks To Continue Hot Start In Miami
The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat will meet on Wednesday night as the teams try to prove they’re the real deal early this season. Both teams have recorded just one loss thus far.
The Pacers haven't had the most difficult schedule to start the season with victories over the Pistons, Raptors, Cavaliers and Nets helping them to their current 4-1 record, but the acquisition of David West has obviously made them quite a bit better this season. Danny Granger needs to get on track if the Pacers are going to beat the Heat, however, as the All-Star swingman is shooting just 34 percent from the field this season.
Miami is coming off of a bad home loss to the Hawks as they were exposed by Atlanta’s zone defense, but it’s likely Erik Spoelstra will have his team prepared for a few different looks on Wednesday night against the Hawks. James will look to keep up his hot start as he’s scored a combined 176 points on 60 percent shooting through the first six games for the Heat this season.
The game will be available on NBA League Pass when it tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
