Luol Deng led the Chicago Bulls (1-0) over the Memphis Grizzlies (1-1) in the Bulls preseason debut, 92-88. Deng scored 18 points in 23 minutes and was one of five Bulls to score in double figures. The Grizzlies mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bulls, 23-11, but it was too little too late. Jerome Jordan led Memphis with 13 points in just 13 minutes.

Both starting point guards did not play in this game. Derrick Rose is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in the playoffs and Mike Conley got a night off for Memphis.

New Orleans Hornets 97, Charlotte Bobcats 82: Top pick Anthony Davis led the Hornets (2-0), scoring 22 points and adding nine rebounds. Robin Lopez added 18 points and 13 rebounds and Greivis Vasquez dished out 11 assists for New Orleans. Hornets' star Eric Gordon sat out with right knee soreness.

New addition Ben Gordon led the Bobcats (1-1) with 15 points. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, the second pick behind Davis in the 2012 draft, added 10 points, four assists and three rebounds.

Milwaukee Bucks 97, Cleveland Cavaliers 80: The Bucks (1-0) won their preseason opener as six players scored double digits with Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis both adding 15. The Cavs (1-1) were led by C.J. Miles with 18 and Kyrie Irving with 16. No one else on Cleveland scored more than eight.

FC Barcelona Regal 99, Dallas Mavericks 85: Dallas (1-1) fell to Barcelona in its second preseason game in Europe. Dirk Nowitzki did not play for the Mavs, who were led by Chris Kaman's 15 points and 10 rebounds.
