The approaching storm could disrupt games in the Northeast next week.
Sandy won't have any affect on Tuesday's games, which mark the beginning of the regular season. Cleveland, Miami and the Lakers host games on that day. Wednesday, both the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors are scheduled to host games, and it's possible those contests could be disrupted by the hurricane. The 76ers are scheduled to face the Denver Nuggets, while Toronto is scheduled to play the Indiana Pacers.
On Thursday, the Brooklyn Nets are scheduled to host the New York Knicks, which also has the potential to be affected.
Sandy is currently a Category 1 hurricane, with wind gusts up to 95 miles per hour. The storm is off the coast of Florida and working its way north.
