Philadelphia 76ers point guard Jrue Holiday stated in an interview with Anthony Gargano and Rob Ellis of 94.1 WIP in Philadelphia on Tuesday that he believes former teammate Andre Iguodala will be booed when he returns to Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night as a member of the Denver Nuggets.
Jrue Holiday says ‘94 percent chance’ Andre Iguodala booed in return to Philadelphia
Jrue Holiday believes Andre Iguodala will be booed when he returns to Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night as a member of the Denver Nuggets.

Iguodala was traded by the 76ers this past offseason as one of the pieces in the blockbuster four-team trade that brought star center Andrew Bynum to Philadelphia and sent disgruntled Orlando Magic big man Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite Iguodala’s service to the 76ers, Holiday still believes he will receive a rough homecoming from the Philadelphia crowd, via SportsRadioInterviews.com:
“That’s my man. Ever since I was here he was the guy that kind of took me under his wing and he’s still my friend. Coming back here hopefully it will be somewhat good for him. I feel very strongly, probably 94 percent that he’s going to get booed. (Host: You can up that a little bit.) OK cool but again I’m excited to see him and excited to see he’s doing well. He didn’t go to a team that was just complete trash, he actually went to a good team and just seeing that he’s doing so well. I think he’s done a lot for our team, especially young guys like me.”
Originally selected by Philadelphia with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, Iguodala was highlighted as an intergal part of the franchise. Last season, he helped lead the team to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs where they fell to the Boston Celtics in seven games.
