In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the Brooklyn Nets practice facility in East Rutherford, N.J., is flooded and without power. The Nets were forced to move their Wednesday practice to the Barclay's Center. With the entire first floor of their practice facility flooded, the Nets are unsure when they can return. General manager Billy King said they will continue to practice in Brooklyn for the foreseeable future.

The damage from Hurricane Sandy already caused New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg to ask for the postponement of the Nets' season opener against the New York Knicks, originally scheduled for Thursday night. The storm has caused several Nets players to temporarily move out of their homes and move into hotels while storm damage is repaired.
Nets backup point guard Tyshawn Taylor could not attend Wednesday's practice because he was stranded in Hoboken, N.J. With their original opener postponed, the Nets' will open their season on Nov. 3 against the Toronto Raptors at the Barclay's Center.
