Former NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady has officially signed his deal with Qingdao DoubleStar of the Chinese Basketball Association, Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski reports. Wojnawrowski reported earlier in the day that the deal was for one year and that McGrady was expected to head overseas in the next few weeks.

Former NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady has officially inked his deal to play for Qingdao DoubleStar in China, according to reports.

The 33-year-old spent 15 years in the NBA out of high school, and his effectiveness went downhill in the past few seasons because of knee injuries. McGrady played as a reserve with the Atlanta Hawks this past year, averaging a career-low 5.3 points per game.
McGrady will join a growing number of former NBA stars in China. Former NBA All-Star Stephon Marbury has grown his Starbury brand in China and led the Beijing Ducks to a CBA title last season. He will be a familiar face in China after teaming with Yao Ming on the Houston Rockets.
He holds career averages of 19.6 points, 4.4 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game. He has not scored in the double-digits in the past three seasons.
