NBA schedule: Celtics visit Bucks to highlight Saturday night in NBA

Both the Celtics and Bucks are off to surprising starts to the NBA season making this an interesting Eastern Conference matchup.

The Boston Celtics are searching for answers after falling to 2-3 on the season following their third loss on Friday night to the Philadelphia 76ers. Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Washington Wizards to run their early-season record to 3-1, good for the top spot in the Central Division.

With the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers dealing with injury woes, the Bucks appear poised to make a run at a playoff spot in the East behind the speedy backcourt duo of Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings. Ellis leads the Bucks in scoring with over 18 points per game, while Jennings is averaging over 16 points and nine assists per game.

The Celtics continue to rely on Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo but have struggled on the defensive end early in the season. In the loss to Philadelphia on Friday night, Boston gave up 26 fast break points.

This is the second time the teams will meet this season, after Milwuakee opened the season in Boston with a 99-88 win. In the first game, Jennings got the better of Rondo with 21 points, 13 assists and six steals.
