Lakers meet with Phil Jackson, no official offer yet
Lakers brass meet with Phil Jackson on Saturday, but have not officially extended an offer to the legendary coach.

While the Lakers did not officially extend an offer to the greatest head coach of all-time during their meeting, Bresnahan reports it is well understood that the job is Jackson’s, if he wants it.
The Lakers are expected to be conducting phone interviews with other coaching candidates for their head coach position, including Mike D’Antoni and Mike Dunleavy, Sr., via Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
D'Antoni coached Steve Nash when the two were together with the Suns running a fast-paced, scoring machine offense. The former Suns and New York Knicks head coach parted ways with the Knicks mid-season last year. Meanwhile, Dunleavy has not coached a NBA team since 2010 with the Los Angeles Clippers.
